Bruce Banner (Hulk)

Bruce Banner was just a regular guy experimenting with gamma radiation until everything went wrong. Or right depending on how you look at it. Now he has the ability when angry to become a giant, green, indestructible monster named the Hulk. Ruffalo is the second actor to portray Bruce Banner in Marvel's Cinematic Universe, and looks like he will stick around for a while. The Hulk has helped defeat the likes of the Abomination and Loki. He is part of the Avengers along with Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye. He also counts Nick Fury and Maria Hill as allies. He had a girlfriend in The Incredible Hulk, Betty Ross, but she has yet to be brought back or mentioned in the following movies. Nowadays, Bruce spends his time counseling Tony Stark and trying to gain even more control over the Hulk.

Emil Blonsky (The Abomination)

Blonsky was one of the most fearless soldiers in the army when Banner transformed himself into the Hulk. When the army wanted to find an answer to the Hulk, they injected Blonsky with a version of the Super Soldier serum. After a battle with the Hulk left him in bad shape, he exposed himself to gamma radiation, which transformed him into The Abomination. Getting another shot at the Hulk ended with him in the army's custody.

Thunderbolt Ross

Ross in a military general who has a strong hatred for the Hulk. His daughter, Betty Ross, helped Bruce Banner transform into the Hulk. He wants to capture him so he can get his blood and turn it into a weapon.

Samuel Sterns (The Leader)

  • Played by Tim Nelson

  • Appeared In​

    • The Incredible Hulk

 

Sterns is a scientist who specializes in gamma radiation. He tried to help Bruce Banner develop a cure. He was forced to help Blonsky turn himself into the Abomination and in the process had some of the Hulk's blood drop into a cut in his head.

Betty Ross

Betty is the daughter of Thunderbolt Ross and was the former love interest of Bruce Banner. She was a gamma radiation researcher who previously had helped Bruce with his experiments.
